Featured Carillon Projects

Private Estate, Yoakum, TX

For a private individual in this South Texas city we provided a completely chromatic two octave carillon of 25 bells; this instrument was fitted with an electric striking action using internal clappers. For this installation, we built a special bell frame of tubular structural steel, given a baked-on, powder coat finish in a custom color, to be an integral part of a free standing tower built locally; the roof added to the frame was also built locally. The lower part of the tower was sheathed in a patented cementitious product giving the appearance of cedar clapboard siding, but highly resistant to rot or deterioration. The computer control and remote keyboard were installed in the music room of the residence, which also featured a large Allen organ installation.
